• AI-powered flashcard generation from uploaded content
• Interactive quizzes and study materials creation
• AI chat functionality for personalized learning assistance
• Audio transcription and content analysis
• YouTube video processing and content extraction
• Spaced repetition algorithms for optimal learning
• Content upload and processing (PDFs, audio files, text)

The Service is subject to change at our discretion. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. User Accounts

We use Google OAuth for authentication. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

You agree not to share your account credentials with others and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Payment and Subscription

We use Stripe for payment processing. By subscribing to our paid services, you agree to pay all fees in accordance with the pricing and payment terms in effect at the time. You are responsible for providing current, complete, and accurate billing information.

4.1 Refund Policy

Subjectify does not provide refunds for any purchases or subscriptions except in cases where technical issues on our part have severely impacted or prevented service delivery. If you believe you qualify for a refund due to technical issues, please contact us at hello@subjectify.app with detailed information about the technical issues experienced. All refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

5. Data Privacy and Security

We store user profile information such as emails and usernames. Sensitive information, including payment details, is securely handled by Stripe. Your uploaded content and learning data are processed through our AI systems to provide the Service.

We implement appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices to protect your personal information and uploaded content. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant Subjectify a license to process, analyze, and generate learning materials from your content for the purpose of providing the Service.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Subjectify and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You agree not to upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others or violates any applicable laws or regulations.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
• For any obscene or immoral purpose
• To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service

8. AI Processing and Content Analysis

By using the Service, you acknowledge that your content will be processed by AI systems to generate learning materials, transcriptions, and chat responses. You understand that:

• AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes and may not be 100% accurate
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of AI-generated materials
• AI processing may involve sending your content to third-party AI services

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Subjectify, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of Subjectify after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
